For those of us that have an appreciation for, and
make use of, our Michigan inland lakes, be you Riparian,
Fisherman, or Weekend Warrior: It is our responsibility
to preserve and improve the quality of our lakes and
watersheds. For the few of us that actually realize that
this is important, we offer information made available
to us by professionals that are also dedicated to
enhancing the publics' understanding of, and the future
of, our inland lakes, streams, and water resources.
We welcome inquiries from qualified limnologists and
other technical lake data sources that would like to
contribute to this site.

Want to really know whats going on with your lake? An
excellent source of technical and scientific information
is The Water Newsletter written and published by Dr.
Wallace E. Fusilier, Ph.D., Consulting Limnologist. He
and his equally dedicated wife Bene have studied
Michigan inland lakes for many years, and provide
tremendous insight to those who wish to understand the
form, function, ecology, and sometimes politics, of
lakes.
